Allayne Roper
Allayne was our first guest blogger. She undertook a lot of eco research before embarking on her own widebeam adventure with husband Paul Roper.
She is employed as a PA for Allen & Overy, but is signed off work at the moment with terminal cancer of the breast, spine and liver.
She is dealing with her fight with cancer on board their boat Mischief, a beautiful Liverpool widebeam, and with their two adorable shipmates Pandi and Phoenix (two cats). Her life is with Mischief and the great community surrounding it.
Allayne can be seen, more often than not, being wheeled around by her husband to dry land for her appointments and daily matters.
She and Paul are single handedly fattening up the several families of swans and geese who have worked out they can be bullied into regular feeding.
