A call for better comms as BW becomes CRT

on May 26, 2012

On BWs poor communication with boaters

I blogged on my professional PR blog about the opportunity that the new CRT has to improve its relationship with boaters by improving its communications, starting with a review.

It’s called ‘When Communication Gets Left Behind‘, and expresses the hope that the coming of the CRT (canals and Rivers Trust) will mean more positive engagement between the new charity and its stakeholders than has been the case with BW (British Waterways).

I’d love to know other boaters’ thoughts – I’m sure people will have lots of examples – and am hoping BW may be monitoring and listening, and even if it doesn’t engage with the article, that it may take on board some of what’s been said.
